Many times people like to have other things painted such as houses, churches, barns, flowers, etc.
For these types of commissions an appropriate photo from the client may be used or I may need to take the photos.
Landscapes, florals and special buildings are typically the subject of commissioned works.
A single fine-detail painting takes many hours to complete and the time needed will vary depending upon the size and complexity of the painting. Each painting is done on acid free fine art pastel paper (pastels, illustration board (charcoals), or professional gallery wrapped canvas.
Matting and framing is not included and left to the discretion of the client. I will be happy to do this for an additional fee.
Also not included in the fees are travel expenses, sales tax, processing fees and shipping. While you own the painting, all work is copyrighted by Steelman Studios for purposes of advertising and/or presentation.
